Bringing a Message of Hope (Again)
In 2020, the Imani Milele Choir arrived in Laurens County on their cross-country tour sharing joy through music and dance. Within hours of their arrival, the whole world headed into lock-down because of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. What was scheduled to be a two-night stay with performances scheduled in the local area became a 281-night stay with only opportunities to perform virtually. Their message of hope in support of the work of the organization back in Uganda also became a sustaining message of love and hope for our community during the uncertainty of the pandemic.
Now – four years later, the choir has returned to the community that supported them so kindly during their 2020 pandemic sheltering at Camp Fellowship to say “Thank You!” and to share TWO performances as they wrap-up their 2024 tour – LIGHT OF HOPE!
You Can Help Bring the Light!
Fellowship Camp and Conference Center is inviting area businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to support our 2024 Momentum Campaign by sponsoring the return of the Imani Milele Choir. Sponsorships will provide support to aid Fellowship Camp and Conference Center with community impact, including hosting and supporting logistics for performances, room and board and other elements for the choir’s final stop on their 2024 tour.
Join us in welcoming the choir by choosing a sponsorship level for the Light of Hope Momentum Campaign!
